TOGETHER WE CAN BUILD A BETTER COMMUNITY

Code Enforcement

If houses are not meeting code then we help our elderly, disabled, single mothers and unemployed be able to stay in their homes.

Assisting Non Profits

Our local nonprofits work hard to better our communities often on small budgets.  We help them where they have been neglected.

Mobilize Funds

These projects need funding to make these things happen with no added burden to the community.

Mobilize Labor

We have over 200 beautiful volunteers that we will be mobilizing into various projects in your community.

Build Community Gardens

Building community gardens for local schools, libraries, and other nonprofits based on the need and want of the community.

Building Leaders

Learning to stand tall with city hall, community leaders, civic and clergy to accomplish something greater than ourselves.

THE EXPERIENCE THAT YOU HAVE YOU SHARE

1. Youth Groups Are Answering The Call To Impact Their Communities

We are seeing a generation that is no longer satisfied with the status quo of society and are making their own standard, whether its starting businesses or embracing communitiy. They are difference makers.

Rom 7:6 But now, by dying to what once bound us, we have been released from the law so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of the written code.

  • Serving with humility and sacrifice
  • Sharing God’s love from their hearts
  • Impacting the community through service
Mission Cedar Hill(ServeDFW) has had a enormous impact on me. From when I was 3 feet tall to now over 6'3'' Mission Cedar Hill has been there. Giving me the opportunity to participate in dozens of community outreach programs, youth events, and even helping out the little ones in vacation bible school. Just allowing me to give back to my God. Ill see you there!!
Mikel Terry, Cedar Hill

2. A Camp That Will Continue To Feed and Build Our Students Hearts

One of the ways we facilitate a “mission trip” experience is by staying at Mt. Lebanon, a local encampment that has partnered with our church and the vision of Mission Cedar Hill. By staying at the camp, the youth grow closer to God while in service.

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

  • Build a sense of community
  • Get a chance to fellowship
  • Get spiritually poured into
Mission Cedar Hill has taught me and shown me first hand that there is more to life than what is in my own bubble. Being able to take care to the community and seeing the appreciation in people's faces has been a blessing. I truly believe the Lord is working through our church with this program and it is an honor to be able to help further His kingdom.
Jackson Glenn, Cedar Hill

3. Christian Unity Is A Place Many Have Never Seen But Exists When We Make It So

Paul tells us to “be eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace” (Ephesians 4:3). I take that to mean that the Holy Spirit is the great giver of unity. “In one Spirit we were all baptized into one body — Jews or Greeks, slaves or free — and all were made to drink of one Spirit”

“Make my joy complete by being of the same mind, maintaining the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose,”

  • Coming together for the sake of our city(ies)
  • Worshipping together throughout
  • Accomplishing more than we ever could alone

REVIEWS FROM HAPPY NONPROFITS

A bunch of faithful servants! Year after year they have served Bridges Safehouse not just with the little needs but with big needs too. They show up with smiles, ready to work hard and with the spirit of excellence.
Nicole Hernandez, Bridges Safehouse
I've had the pleasure and the priviledge of hosting this program 3 years in a row. They have painted, cleaned carpets, gotten us organized, moved us from one location to our new location and this year helping us with a full blown remodel. They are amazing!
Clara McGiness, Cedar Hill Action Team (CHAT)
Over the last few years, these students have worked hard, no matter what project we had for them, from deep cleaning to sorting donations, to blessing those who are less fortunate. We look forward to their group coming to serve year after year.

NO MORE SITTING ON THE FENCE

Mission Cedar Hill started 12 years ago as a response to a community need brought to Mayor Rob Franke of Cedar Hill.  Since its inception, the program has grown to facillitate and mobilize over 100 volunteers during its 3 day work focus.

ServeDFW is a call to take the same heart into surrounding cities mobalizing local churches regardless of denomination, serving their city until the whole metroplex is reached with love and service.

As a youth minister, I have been amazed how our youth have rallied around this vision of bringing care to the community.  More students sign up to work at Mission Community than ANY other event all year.  They have embraced the call of missions, and have chosen to commit to being a part of a “mission trip” to the very community they live and worship in.

Jesus said “You are the salt of the earth.”  In the same chapter, followers of Christ are also called the “light of the world.”  We believe that in order to be salt and light to a world that is in desparate need, we have to get out of the confines of the church, roll up our sleeves and meet people’s needs.
